help translating m.o.t. paper please

i took my sportrak in for its m.o.t. today.

and it failed on, i'm quoting the m.o.t. fail sheet here ( nearside front lower (drop link bar) anti-roll bar linkage has excessive play in a pin/bush)

the place i took it to doesn't do repairs, and i would like to buy the parts myself to save money, but i don't know what i need to ask for, could someone translate the m.o.t. paper into idiot proof english please?

Unless you wanna do it again for next year's MOT, I understand you should buy it from somewhere other than these guys.

Never had any problems with them myself, and lots of garages use them.

Yep, bought loads of stuff off ECP, a lot of their stuff is OEM or recognised brands.

I bought a Saab/Vaux drop Link for £6 plus P and P on Ebay, we shall see how long it lasts, its a piece of metal with a ball joint and a bolt each end, it seemed pretty much identical to the one I took off, certainly didnt look substandard.

If you don't know which part the tester is talking about ask them to show you.

That's the boy. Looks like someone may have attempted a quick fix before. I'm not familiar with how the part should look but that bolt looks suspiciously long and non-genuine.

Before you buy anything, get a couple of spanners on there and see if you can take out the slack. Might be a very easy fix!

Someone has been there before. The nut and bolt shown in the photo is not original, from the factory there is a stud which is part of the lower arm where the anti roll bar mounts. As said above a few minutes with a spanner may fix it.
