The article implies you can do some pretty amazing stuff with laser headlights. I specifically like the design aspect that laser headlights would allow in relation to some pretty awesome shaped headlights. I'm sure the majority of replies in this thread will just talk about how bright the lasers can be though...

There's enough cave dwellers complaining about DRLs as it is.

Its an obvious advantage unless you're the pedestrian who has now nearly been blinded.... Tis bad enough when a luxary car comes up at night with its headlights on full beam. Call me a cave-dweller if you like, but adding another 50% plus to the brightness of the lights is not a good thing imo.

H1 headlights are about 1550 lumens.
