I miss Canada too. i lived in Winnipeg, not known for its driving roads, but some good fast ones. I used to drive from Winnipeg to Stonewall, Gimli and Lake Winnipeg quite often, and there were miles of empty (very straight) roads. Those were the days when it was rare as hens teeth to see any Police.
Never did it in Supercars though. I wasn't that lucky spoiled.

Get the impression the news reader is jealous, with all the emotional fury he is adding, and all. Speeds reaching 200 kph!? Crazy.

Personally I wouldnt let my sixteen year old son with little experience loose in a supercar on a provisional licence, as I dont want him to be killed in a massive crash and I also dont want him to kill anyone else, 16 year old boys, as a rule arent the most responsible and skille ddrivers in a shopping car so the havoc they can wreak in a 200 mph car is beyond comprehension, they should buy them a track day.

It isnt a jealousy thing with me, some people have a lot of money, I get that but the problems arrive when it allows them to do things that would normally be unattainable, let them get some experience of driving before handing them the keys to cars like that.

A 13 car supercar convery, pretty much a dream come true for a 16 year old boy. I bet they had a lot of fun before the police caught up with them.

I was in Calgary last year and there was a load of Supercars, a messed with Enzo in yellow, the Maserati thing based on an Enzo (mc something) and loads of Ferraris, Lambo's and Porsches, must be a lot of money in Canada, all that oil money perhaps !

IF they actually were driving at those kinds of speeds in those areas then they are nuts.
