Working on a scooter (vespa)
Discussion
Me and a few friends have vespas and are quite often taking them to a mechanic to have work done. This isn't cheap (£35 per hour) and I'd really like to have a tinker myself. I used to ride motocross bikes and was always working on those so I'm sure working on a two stroke would be simpler.
My question really is two part;
1) does anyone know of good books or manuals? I already have a Haynes.
2) would a part time mechanic course be any good?
Cheers all

I'll post up a link for you later with a pdf of scoot manuals.
What you got? My lad has got a Vespa pk50 that'll be on the road next week.

Here you are. Just choose manufacturer and model.
And I'd think if your used to working on engines you won't need a night class.

Batley brag 24th Sept. It's on the Yorkshire forum should be a good do.

I think I'm actually off that day but it could change! If your boy wants a blast in my CS or even my M3 (I'm on holiday for the next week so could get it ready), he's more than welcome mate!
