Second car purchase advise
Discussion
Need some help. ive owned my trusty 1.2 punto active sport for almost 3 years now. and she has served me well. i am now looking on finnally replacing her as im worried it wont get me through the winter and possibly cost me an arm and a leg to get running if something goes bang.
here are some details about myself:
i am 21 years old
have been driving nearly 3 years
2 years no claims
car requirements
fairly cheap on insurance, as it is still high for me
1.4 - 1.6l petrol or could be swayed by a diesel
up to 6k to spend
nothing more than 5 years old
would like something a little sporty but not essential.
main thing is reliability and decent running costs.
i have been looking at fiesta zetec s as a friend of mine has one and currently this is my no1 choice but was wondering what people would suggest.
thanks in advance.

Better the devil you know.
Unless you are bored of a car, I'd never change one through reliability fears unless you know 100% it is dying.
I've changed cars a few times in the last few years, they have all been around 7-10 years old and I've spent hundreds on each putting them right.
Wish I'd just stuck with my old car as it owed me nothing and I knew it faults.
But, if you are bored nothing will stop you from changing your mind!
