Our company has slowly changed our company cars to Leased cars. We used to buy our company cars outright so the old ones, up until now, have been sold to the employees who wanted them. Anyway now I have two due for sale that I will need to sell to the public, I could use WBAC but I don't want to give them away.

We are in no way a car dealer, but as we are a company will I be required to give any form of warranty on these?

Any reason you're not going to send them to auction?

I want to get as much as I can for them, they both look showroom fresh it's only the milage that's the downside. (Well 95K on a 08 Passat and 80K on a 06 Accord)

I thought Auction prices are pretty keen at the moment.

Maybe worth contacting the local auction just to see what similar cars have gone for in the recent past.

For the hassle free experience it would be worth losing out on a few hundred quid.

If you do deceide to sell privately you are not a dealer so no warranty needs to be given IMO. The cars are registered to the company thats all.

I have just checked the mileage on them as my previous post was a guess and yes the Honda needs a wash.

Both ok cars, but there are plenty of 3 and 4 year old higher mileage ex lease Passats around in the auctions....if you advertise them privatly ask trade +£500 for them, otherwise you will be competing garages.
