Not quite the IOM Subaru drift hold, but I'm happy.

I was racing at Pembrey with RAFMSA and BARC this weekend, caught some oil on the first lap of our sprint race, managed to do some peddling to get out of it...

When you posted it up on Facebook I had to re publish on mine.

It is on par with IOM hold and Jason Plato at Brandshatch a few years ago sideways through paddock hill.

Nicely done!

Out of interest, what's that you're driving?

Also, your helmet looks like a storm trooper!! hehe

Ahh should put it in the video tags I guess, just a little mk1 Golf GTi smile

Yes the Stilo Helmet is very trooper esq. (but I'm not a star wars fan)

Thanks for the kind words though guys, I do enjoy the racing and nice to entertain others! Had a similar moment
at Brands earlier this year on touching the grass into Surtees during the TinTops. Thank god for owning mainly RWD most my life.

I thought it was decided that you just had to "understand physics" to catch that one wink

Anyway, well held. Did anyone behind you get caught out?

I was a good few car length ahead of the chasing pack, a 205 Gti, 306 Rally and Mk2 Golf, hoping one or two have got some footage from their view. But I came back onto line and the next bend before they caught up.
