Ola Amigos.

I'm slightly puzzled by this. On the subaru website this is still being advertised with 'your last chance to own' type banners but I am surprised they still have them for sale as only 75 were built.

Has the response to it been that lukewarm? Anyone know how many have been sold etc? Is just a case of the price having been set too high?

TIA

The price is pretty incredible, really.

But I did think all had been sold.

Not many people with 50k to spend on a hatchback, however good it is..

Wouldn't be surprised if some owners cut their losses and lost a deposit to get out of paying the full whack. It's an incredible car and when I read about it in the EVO test against the Focus RS500 all I could think was "No matter of Ford RS-licking could make me what the RS500 over that Cosworth STI", as long as I wasn't paying of course!

The RS500 they tested was around £35,000 which still sounds like a lot of money for a Focus RS with the Mountune kit on it. If the STI was around that mark (still a good £10,000-odd up from the standard STI at that point) it would have looked like better value, but Cosworth and Subaru are kidding themselves if they think the special Cosworth parts, and not just the Cosworth name, took the price up to the £50,000 mark!

If it was priced at 40k it would have been a belter. But 50k is way to much for a scooby.

Cheers for the info!

Interesting cars, seriously "bd" fast and rare. I am in the minority of people who likes imprezas in hatchback form. Ticks my boxes but not for 50k!!!
