Best Driving Road To Revival?

So I have posted this in the Goodwood forum too, but thought I may as well stick it here, as it would get a quicker response.

My Friend and I are heading down to Goodwood Revival for the first time tomorrow (Friday) in his dad's old V12 Ferrari. I know its late and that there are several suggestions flying around on different routes from London after the A3; such as A283 and A286. We don't want to get stuck behind a coach and crawling traffic.

Oh wise people of PH, what would be the best road for having a good blast and opening her up on?

P.S. We are hoping to get to Hindhead tunnel at some point.
