Has anyone ever heard of this before - I cannot find another example of the 4wd system on this car?!?
It was spec'd by a director of Ford UK as his car in 1996..

Any info would be helpful.

Many Thanks

Sure I've seen the odd one with 4x4 badges on the side (doesn't necessarily make it true I know) both I've seen were in the horrible pineapple yellow colour they did, with RS bumpers. Not seen one for a long time though.

I believe Reyland motorsport had a green one that they put a 500bhp Cosworth YB engine in also, apparently it's sat in the corner of their workshop now awaiting some TLC.

As far as I knew they only did the AWD system (from the Escort RS2000) on the 2.0. Not heard of a V6 with it before.

A quick google search brings up some results with guys on Passion Ford on how to make the v6 4x4 Mondeo rear wheel drive.

Citrine yellow but only 2 litre.

SVT in America worked on a 4wd Supercharged Contour SVT model

That could be a bit of a beast. Shame it never made it to the UK.

Production V6 with 4 x 4 was never made. As above no production V6 in Citrine Yellow either. Shame.
