Curious one, my daily had some battery issues which I solved, when I turned it over the clocks went a bit haywire for a few seconds, but somehow the speedo needle has found itself under the stopper.

So when I drive, the needle tries to move but cant get by the stopper. The rev counter doesn't work but that hasnt worked since I have owned the car.

The car is a Citroen Xsara 1.9TD, I am open to any suggestions on how I can get the needle back over. not really fancying taking the dash apart though.

Drill a tiny hole and snap off the stopper?

Take the instrument cluster out and just turn it upside down then in the direction that you want the needle to return to,gravity will do the rest.

surely it would be easier to roll the car over in the correct direction.... no disassembly needed.....

Fixed it by taking the trip computer reset button out, and some wire to grab it and flick it all the way back round.
