Clutch Burning shortly after replacing
Discussion
After having my car for about a year, the clutch started slipping so had to get it replaced.
Fast forward 4 months after getting the clutch fitted, the smell came again! It was while parallel parking on a steep hill. Speeds were very low so couldn't fully release clutch pedal while maneuvering in such a small space at such low speeds.
I thought clutch burn shouldn't happen with a newish clutch and it was a sign that a clutch was nearing its end. Surely my driving isn't so bad that I've got through a clutch in 4 months! Is this normal? Car is around 6 years old.

I had a new clutch in recently.
Then I got stuck in very slow moving traffic on a hill in Sheffield where it never actually stopped, but was slower than being in first.
Ended up reeking of clutch at the top.
:/
I think I would have been stopping and starting and using the handbrake, not slipping the clutch the whole time. Then I got stuck in very slow moving traffic on a hill in Sheffield where it never actually stopped, but was slower than being in first.
