Renewal question.
Discussion
My insurance is up for renewal next week, and I've been comparing a few prices. All is good, apart from a few questions I'm planning to ask when I phone up the best quotes. If I can get a better view of how things work before I phone, I'll feel a little better prepared - and with that in mind, here's my question.
It's regarding my no-claims bonus. I've been with Admiral since I got my car 5 years ago, apart from last year when I swapped over to a different company (unhappy with Admirals handling of a non-fault accident). That's all been resolved and Admiral now give me the best quote.
When I left Admiral last year, I was given a certificate for 2 years no claims bonus. I had an incident free year with the other company last year, and I'm unsure what I should be putting in the no-claims part of my quote.
Is it three (total), two (just from Admiral), or none (because I wasn't continuously with Admiral)?
As I say, I'll be clarifying all of this when I phone during the week, but I'd like to be forearmed with a little information beforehand. The difference in quotes with 3/2/0 years no claims bonus is a good few hundred pounds.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

You have three years no caims but they will probably add a bit on for the non fault. I think this is something you have to discuss over the phone, I don't think it's covered by the online quotes.
Yep, I've already declared that on the comparison site, and it does add a bit for my non-fault. Sucks, but that's life.If I can get a full 3 years no claims taken into account, it'll lessen the sting a little though.
