Evening peoples. I'm in need of some info re the topic. Having spent the last 2 months showing my lady every decent coupe that she could buy for her 12K budget, the list has been reduced to these 2. I'm hoping its a case of pros rather than cons but if any of you have an insight, I'd be grateful to hear it.

My girlfriend is in a similar position and i think will go for the clk. To me it looks much much nicer, especially with the amg bits on it. Bmw just looks too sales rep to me (still a good car though)

I agree with the reppy look and I reckon the interior looks tidier. Just have some concerns about reliability, or maybe the personal reviews I've read have been the unlucky few.

It'll be auto. We live in West but she'll be driving to London a few times per month so I thought that would ease any clutch pains on M25

Well you wouldn't want a manual Mercedes. Doubt there's much in it between the two to be honest.

FFS this is worse than watching her buy shoes. Can we go and look at a Volvo C70 too?
