Temporary speed limiter removal

Due to a few of my colleagues in work crashing some of the vans, the powers that be have decided to fit speed limiters. Is there a way I can, ahem, temporarily disable the limiter?
The vans are 59, 60 and 11 plate Ford Transits.
Help me please, 67mph is bad, but they also have a rev limiter in all gears which is borderline dangerous!

Usually you can pull the fuse for the dashboard.

This does, however, lose the speedo, rev counter and indicators.

Fuse 19 on DAF XF trucks...allegedly.

Ford Transit, I did say.
Speedo, rev counter not a problem, but loosing indicators could be a problem.

It is programmed into the abs and engine ecu so you won't be able to do anything unless you know a ford technician.

Have you talked to the powers that be about your fears, the speed limiter is fair enough, but rev limiter (depending what it is set to) could certainly be an issue safety wise!

I can see it now. "Well, I was exceeding the speed limit because I disabled the speedometer along with the speed limiter..."

As well as being limited, your van is also probably trackered too.

They will know how fast you have gone.

Very possible. Also possible that the limiter is tamperproof and your employer will find out. Wouldn't risk it personally.

Are your colleagues ok? I'm guessing the crashes must have been over 70 mph for this system to have been put in place.

I had a hire Transit with a 70 mph limiter, makes overtakes on motorways tiresome!
