I am shortly due to pay the renewal of insurance and road tax for my 2001 V70 Volvo. I have just got reminders for both, which reminds me, my MOT is due too.
The thing that staggered me this year, is that my insurance is costing less than my road tax. I'm sure this has never happened before. Insurance has always been much more than road tax.
This year I have to pay £260 for road tax, and £156 for insurance (fully comp). Feels very wierd.
I must be getting MBH old.

I pay about half that & I'm not 12. OP must park the Volvo in the middle of 3000 sq miles of nothingness.
I'd dance a MBH jig if my insurance bill was less than double my tax bill eek
