We need some front tyres for my wifes Leon and as we're heading to Costco on Monday thought we may get some from there. However, does anyone know what brand they sell and if they're likely to have most sizes in stock? I can find prices when I get there but at least it'll give me a chance to compare online beforehand.

If I recall correctly they're a rip off.

rofl I paid £284 inc fitting and VAT for a pair of PS3's this morning at Costco Chester, Camskill want £272.08 including VAT and Shipping . . . . . . . . £12 to have two tyres fitted there and then is hardly a rip off and I'd suggest that unless you earn considerably less than minimum wage, even if you were only paying £5 per tyre for fitting, it is a rip off to get them from the supplier with the fractional cheaper base price.

ETA same tyres fitted from BlackCircles are £311.14 smile

Remember saving a small fortune when replacing my old X5 tyres. The only downside is waiting around a while to get them fitted..

They inflate with Nitrogen too rather than just air as it gives more stable pressure, and from memory they come with insurance so that if they get damaged beyond repair they will contribute towards replacement.

My tyres are filled with a 78% Nitrogen mix. Best of all, it was FOC and I can top them up at home.

It's pretty tricky to do them while you're driving around. wink

The idea is that you'll do an hour's shopping while they fit them - this is the downside of using Costco, you'll spend £200 on stuff you never knew you needed!

I think they only do Conti's if it's a size that Michelin don't do.

yes and on top of that, after my first post on here I emailed and asked them why Camskill were cheaper . . . . . I now have a voucher for the difference in the post (downside of course is that I'll no doubt spend far more when in there sp3ending the voucher!)

...bought plenty of tyres there but never heard that before, unless you're referring to the posiibility of returning anything (except some electrical stuff) to Costco for a refund at any time. Be taking the piss a bit to return a worn out tyre though!

Hmmm...I tried that on some winter's recently and they said they won't price match internet outlets. I wanted 6 tyres and they were way cheaper than anyone else during one of their 20% discount offers, but bizarrely they would only give the discount in multiples of 4 tyres, and they wouldn't even price match on the other 2 so I didn't buy them.
