Best handling car you have driven/been in??
Discussion
'87 Turbo Esprit. Slide with confidence under power on dry tarmac.
Closely followed by Westfield Eleven. Just perfect.
Then 998 Mini. The only car that I have ever four wheel drifted round a wet roundabout.
I've driven a couple of Elises and an Elan Sprint, but not hard enough to pass comment.
1973 S3 Land Rover (in 2WD) was easy to control and predictable when going sideways. Unexpectedly good fun.
A 1998 1.25 Zetec engined Fester was surprisingly good.
Ferrari 328 and BMW E36 328 deserve a nod of respect. Ferrari a bit understeery and BMW lacked steering feel.
Had two Caterhams and one Westfield Seven. A bit twitchy.
My current obsession with V6 Alfas is all about the engines. They certainly don't handle particularly well.
The booby prize goes to the TVR Griff 500 that I was unfortunate enough to own for a few months. It was even worse than my Wrangler Jeep, which was bloody terrible.

If you mean best handeling by "getting round a corner fastest with least fuss" The David Yu's GTR.
If you mean the best handeling everyday, total reliability, regarding all control inputs, then the volvo C30 the old man has. Its unbelivably well planted, and its nature lends its self to not pushing over the limits.
Its a dream to drive.
My CTR is much more rapid down B roads, with x100 more control inputs
