Ok this is my first Poll.

We all know that all PHers love some Pop-Up Light action, but which are the best?

First off the PH favourite that needs no introduction...

Second probably my favourite, look just as cool up as down...

Third, another PH fav....

Fourth, pop out rather than up...

Fifth, check these beasts out!...

Sixth, some old school pop ups...

Seventh, not really pop up or out, but still very cool.

Feel free to add your own, flame me for the ones I've included/not included, call me an idiot, whatever. biggrin

/\ This.

Pop up headlights are automotive porn of the highest order which is exactly why they were banned, sod all to do with H&S. Brussels just wanted to stop our enjoyment frown

928 out of that list. However, my favourite ones are probably the ones on the Quantum 2+2, or the ones on the MK1 MR2. BTW, I think Pop up headlights can still get through IVA I think, as the Quantum 2+2 (Kit Car) is still in production.

I always liked the XJ220's light mechanism.

I owned a Mk2 MX5 so missed out on the pop-ups, but they are ugliest on that list I reckon.

I like the '69 Charger's hideaway lights more than most of these, tbh.

Also, no option for MR2 in the poll? They're nicer than the MX5's popups.

I thought of the F40... Then the Countach.

But of course there can only be one winner. Sixteen cylinders, eighties bonkersness undiluted... And FOUR pop ups.

The Cizeta...

Panther Solo's used to rotate around their axis rather than popping up, which I thought was pretty clever

---

Lotus Elan SE Turbo just had old-school proper pop-ups

---

Dare DZ was nicely bonkers:

If anyone wants a cure for pop ups, a cold shower usually does the trick...

Carry on...

As has been said, all of these are winners, but special mention must go to the Opel GT:
