Nissan's Electric Window Tutorial

Up for up, down for down... or is it up for down? Doh!

We appreciate that not all Americans are as thick as two short planks (we've even met some intelligent ones), but what we don't understand is why the sensible ones let the stoopid ones get away with this sort of thing.

It's an instructional video from Nissan in the US on the use of electric window switches. Either that, or it's some form of cleverly coded internet communication from the CIA to parties unknown.

As we watched Spooks last night, we'll go with the latter. Even Nissan Altima owners aren't this dumb, Shirley?

But what if you are sitting facing backwards in the seats?

Do they change direction then?

I can see a lawsuit coming...

Anyone else checked out the rest of the YouTube channel? They've got videos for all the useful features on the car, Heated Seats and Emergency Inside Trunk Release being two which i think are particularly necessary to highlight.

Love this, and contrary to the sarcastic chap a few posts above, I like silly stories like this - my lunch time now has +1 giggles. Not every story has to be serious or ground-shaking.

doesn't surprise me. The guy I sold my car to before I left the States phoned me up the next day asking how to open the boot. 'Er, put the key in the lock, turn left...'

No as when you watch all the way to the end there's also videos on how to clean the very basics of your interior amongst other stuff...

I wonder if they do these videos as they know the owners won't bother to read the manuals. Guess it will save on lawsuits too!

At 1:04 in the video it shows the start stop button, however you can clearly see on the surround the position markings for a key ignition. Am I really sad for noticing this, and even more sad for being slightly annoyed at Nissan's laziness?!
