Just picked up a 35kg 2nd hand diff in the UK (diff is not available in Australia/US).

Anyone got any tips on realisticly priced shipping to Sydney? Not in any real hurry..just want to may sure it arrives undamaged.

Assume the diff needs to drained and clean from dirt.

TIA

On a serious note though, just pick up a copy of the TNT at your local Flight Centre, hundreds of companies shipping goods to OZ advertise there.

robinsons, pickfords et al. group freight goes by volume, not by weight. will take a while [groupage is a container filled with lots of different customer packages, so will only go when full] but will be cheap. i brought 70cubic feet to dubai for £700 including marine insurance for several £k worth of gear.

Set up an account with interparcel and see what they quote. They'll get standard and premium rates from several different companies.
I've used them to send car parts all over but not as far as Austrailia, I've sent a diff to Finland though!!

http://www.interparcel.com/

Used many times despite having contracts with the main couriers, which are usually more expensive.
