Get the ECU read with VAG COM to ensure that all the engine sensors are functioning correctly and there are no fault codes saved on the ECU before you start buying any parts.

Possibly sticking vanes on the VNG turbo. If the ECU sees an overboost condition it will go into a "limp home" state. Getting the fault codes read should point you in the right direction.

I have the same issue. Replaced n75 valve first and then followed this up with Innotec Turbo treatment (both the cheapest options) but neither worked.

Spoke to a few VW specialists and took it into a few places who advised the car is suffering from 'Sticky Vanes'.
