Surreal insect sighting

Just been for a usual wander around the work site and noticed that some cars, about 6 in total, always silver but not all silver were absolutely swarming with flies.... Cars next to them completely clear including a yellow car ( which having owned a yellow car I knew it to be an insect magnet)

So, WTF is going on? it was almost as if there was a dead body under the bonnet....

Brain can't handle the mechanics of having a dead body under the bonnet.
