I've just seen this van pull up by the side of road, it looked like it had 4 cameras on either corner. Any idea?

Interesting. I considered that but they normally have one rotating camera on the top don't they? At least, the google cars do.

seen them round my way - when they find a car without roat tax the passenger jumps out, slaps a clamp on the car and runs off before the driver notices what's happened

every now and again the passenger gets caught mid clamping and argument ensues

Was he pumping out some Tupac & Biggie whilst talking with a slight 'Wanna be' American slang.. That kind of lean is usually seen under these circumstances.

That's interesting Ricc. The passenger did indeed leap out, but he didn't seem to have a clamp or anything.

prolly checked the road tax on the screen

have also seen ANPR equipped lifting flatbeds, in fact they lifted a car down my road a few weeks back

wouldn't have minded but it was 5am and the owner was woken up

by the time he finished arguing I was walking to the tube irked

Bailiffs working with the local council.

If you don't pay your parking fines their ANPR cameras will pick you up and then your car is clamped.

See them a lot around my way (E.London).
