I recently watched TAXI 4 or T4XI.
Not really a patch on the older ones,too much football and no Lily together with a dull turbo 407 instead of the touring car engined 406.
The Americans have had their own Taxi film with Queen Latifah driving her souped up ford mustang taxi and Jimmy Fallon as the useless cop, with the attractive Jennifer Esposito as his police boss and supermodels as the bad guys (girls) in bmw's.
The french have the taxi driver with the useless cop, the even more useless police chief and the robbers are in a variety of cars including merc 190's. The police always use french cars in the french films.
If the UK had a Taxi film who would you have as the taxi driver, the useless cop, the chief cop and the bad guys, Gisele feeling up Jennifer Esposito is a pretty good scene in the US film

Not sure if we really have any home grown 4dr cars suitable to use as the TAXI, but what would you choose and what cars for the bad guys.
Need a plot as well.
Maybe we need to get a few cars and a video camera together.

Not sure i'd class carry on cabby as the same as the Taxi series http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0152930/ .Every part will be played by Jason bloody Statham. There wont be any dialogue worth remembering, and lots of frowning.

Do we go male or female for the chief. Perhaps some one sexy but with understated class.
Who as the bad guys (or gals) what are they driving and what are they stealing.
If we use the old jags we could use e30 m3's and 190 2.5/2.6's for the baddies.

I reckon a Rover 620ti would be a better bet than a Jag, after all you'd expect the jag to be a bit quick, but not the Rover.Or even a MG ZT V8.
Statham would be ok, but i reckon Clive Owen as the driver, Simon Pegg as the Cop and Brian Blessed as the Chief.
Robbers in any of the German uber-saloons, it would be the only way.
All the police in Vectras. Although it would be much cooler (and more drifty) to have them in Omegas.

Those actors could be good choices, we just need the leading Ladies now and what the baddies are up to.
A bit of roundabout fun, possibly in MK for one scene.
Maybe some e39 M5's for the baddies.
Eva Green plays the Naughty Lady look well maybe with Jodie Kid in the mix as she's a bit of a petrol head.
Some german v8 omegas badged as police vauxhalls for some comedy overhead roundabout drifting in the mk driting scene. At least 2 times round the roundabout per car.
