I am just wondering how cars like this http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3202473.htm are for sale? The loss in value is immence! Unless its repossossed I just dont get it.

You won't find another M3 in that colour. Well that's good, because skitterstter brown is probably not high on people's lists of favourite colours.

I saw that and wondered how that came about, all I can think is someone very rich or a Dealer Principal/Sales Manager going to town on his demonstrator.

Cant you get personal leases which last 12 months?

Its probably unsellable becasue of the colour. Who would buy a diarrhoea brown car? Regardless of make / model, unelss you snapped up a bargain then spent the saving on a wrap.

In my opinion thats clearly an ex BMW demo car that was specced by a clueless member of staff then sold on to someone clueless....

Speccing up stock cars used to be really good fun, trying to work out what would look good and grab people. I did a couple of SLKs in black with red leather and AMG bodystyling, despite concerns they romped out.
