Right. Basically, I'm 19, driving about in my MG, getting bored of it and looking at other options, looking at everything from MX-5's to T's. Non turbo supras, bikes, and a Citroën xsara vts! (cheap 'n cheerful!)

But, for some odd reason, I've felt the urge to get an old jeep grand Cherokee and waft about building up NCB.

Am I a mongo? Or is there method in the madness?

I bought one in February purely for use in the snow, as soon as I picked it up the snow disappeared and it's sat on the driver ever since. I bought it as it was relatively cheap for a 1 owner car with low mileage and full dealer history, it feels a bit archaic to drive but as you say, wafts along comfortably at a steady 15mpg!

What you need is a Honda Fireblade. This is by far the most sensible course of action for any 19-year old. You can happily cruise and sip petrol, returning a healthy 60mpg, or you can heft your balls out of your leathers, slap them on the tank and do 180mph stand-up wheelies whilst listening to Motorhead.

hehe Or somewhere between the two I guess...

There are quite a few leggy Grand Cherokees about with LPG conversions...
