I had a Austin Healey 100M recovered from about 25 miles south of Bilbao.

Anyone had a car recovered further?

I thought I'd got my money's worth with a Triumph Spitfire from Dumfries to Swindon about eight years back.

During a family holiday in the south of Spain, just over the border from Gibraltar, my dads Mondeo ( company car) rear suspension collapsed. The car was recovered back to the UK, and we had a total of nine hire cars to get us back to the uk!

Great Billing to Newcastle from the AA with a Defender 110 and a 90 that was on a trailer, so the driver brought both back but he was going very slow because of the weight.

but I towed a freelander 52 miles using my Defender.

Had my KTM motorbike brought back from Malaga way after the clutch went (they got me a flight back, ended up working out ok for as I didn't have to ride back, though did miss the planned riding across the Pyrenees.
