200sx with a vett V8 !

This months REDLINE mag has a 200sx with a V8 out a Pontiac GTO. They recon they can supply a fitting kit for 2K. I think this is a awesome engine swap. Got me thinking what is the best swaps you have seen or done. another of my favorites was a 2LT red top shoe horned into a mini !

Why!? The 200sx isn't exactly a visual stunner. I prefer the looks of the Monaro/ GTO they pinched the engine from tbh, and the SR20DET isn't exactly a bad engine either.

No its no stunner. but the sheer engineering to fit that in,and the fact i love a good engine transplant

I was thinking that, it already has a good engine to begin with and it's not a particularly good looking car so i'm not sure I see the point.

I'm usually quite a fan of LS engine conversions, E30 BMW for example

Well, it'll sound better. Perhaps makes it a sleeper too, esp if original engine lump was naturally aspirated?

Correct answer is a 27-litre Merlin into a Rover SD1. Although I believe it's still being fettled.

I soooo want to see a video of that going down the Autobahn. Bet there'll be lots of grey-haired ex-Naz... er... I mean, our fellow Europeans ducking for cover.
