MPV load bay heights & door apertures? -Transporting a bike

apologies for what sounds like a boring question. I'm looking to possibly transport my motorbike(s) to track days both here and in Europe in an MPV of some sort. Before you all tell me to get a van the MPV idea does have some logic behind it:- easier to insure, cheaper on the ferry/eurotunnel, quicker, cheaper to buy etc.
Now I need some details to help me slim down on what models to go for. So if you have any of the following models would you mind measuring how high the roof is through the load bay area, and how high the rear door opening is from bottom to top.
MPVs I'm mulling over:
Ford Galaxy/VW Sharan/Seat Abracadabra
Fiat Multipla
Chrysler Grand Voyager
Renault Grand Espace
Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner (?)
Peugeout 806/Citroen Synergie/Ulysse thing
Toyota Previa/Estima/Lucida
VW T4 Caravelle (a lot seem to be registered as vans though...)
Mercedes V-Class.
Any info on any of the above would be great, I've done a fair bit of web searching but the answers are a little hard to find.

What sort of dimensions do you need?
What height, length etc?
What else do you need to transport such as clothing, tyres, spares etc?
I have a Ulysse and could try to get some measurements tomorrow, I dont know if its any bigger in the dimensions you need than the Galaxy's i've owned but its more practical with the sld's and gearchange in the dash.

As I'm looking to purchase an R1 this winter for next year ('04-'06 model) the height is approx 1.1m, but may be a bit more if I fit a double bubble screen (this could be removed when in transit).
Length is just fractionally over 2m.
Any measurements would be great thanks.
As for the rest of the clobber, that can be made to fit, the big thing is just getting the bike in.

I have a 1998 Synergie 1.9 td which I have fitted countless bikes into the back of.
These include:
CG 125
XS 250
GPZ 305
XJR 400
GPX 400
GPZ 500
GS 500
Zephyr 550
CBR 600
ZZR 600
CB 750
Hayabusa 1300
XJR 1300 (driven 750 miles with wife and child in the car, plus a holiday's worth of luggage)
The taller bikes have needed mirrors and screens off, but they all fit (one at a time obviously!)
All the seats come out individually, length of scaffold batton to run the up at the back and some ratchet straps to tie them down and Bob's your uncle.
The car even has tie down points at the back and solid seat frames at the front.
Sliding side doors also make it easier for you to get in and out round the bike, load extra stuff in, and get the kids out at the supermarket...
Does about 35mpg normally (more on a long run), oil changes are every 10k, timing belt every 80k.
Best car I have ever owned and gets my enthusiastic thumbs up!

A mate gets a BMW GS1300 in to his Merc Vito, it's a bit of a squeeze but it does fit.
We picked the bike up in Birmingham and took it back to Belgium in the back of the Vito.
Conversely some scrote stuck my '04 R1 in his van when I was at Zolder, never seen the bike again, it only had done 1800 miles and 1000 of them was driving it to Zolder from John o' Groats.

I guess the GS is quite high....
Bummer about the R1
The galaxy seems to have a tad more height than the 806 from the stats I've seen, the 806 is slower/uses more fuel but is a good £500 cheaper and has the sliding doors.
I just need to sell a car or two and then start looking in earnest.
