Depends how desparately the seller wants the dosh/car gone

You may find there's a bit more demand in the spring as people want a summer toy.
But, in my experience, it doesn't effect the price all that much.

People still know the price and worth of the car.

As a generalisation, you might have less haggling in the spring and a chance of better haggle in the autumn. But it's going to be a marginal adjustment to the price.

In my experience the ticket price stays the same but your haggling ability as a buyer is doubled in autumn/winter months.

Most cars are depreciating too fast for prices to ever rise, but there is definitely tendency for depreciation to slow in the early months of summer as demand rises.

The only vehicle I've looked at closely is my Elise - prices tend to stay static from about January through to July, and what little depreciation there is happens mostly between August and December. I wouldn't be surprised if next year, there is a small rise in the early summer months, although the net direction is definitely still down.

It's pretty marginal though even for something like the Elise which is, for many people, just a summer toy.

Elise S1, compared to last year seem to have risen about £1000 from what i've seen.

Yes, I think S1 prices are on the up, and possibly early S2 ones too. But mine is still on the way down, albeit quite slowly.

This seems a fair assessment to me - you're going to get a chance to check for leaks etc too.
