They do, however, have a fuel tank the size of the Amoco-Cadiz.

Yes, 60 to be fair.

Given no time constraints, I have recently taken to relaxed driving rather than rushing around as quick as humanly possible. I'm getting old I guess.

You'd get even better economy if you weren't carrying the extra weight of all that dust on the dash...

I'm guessing it's a diesel?

Nice build quality round the bottom of the gauges where the steering wheel cover moves about. How much did the car cost?

Suspect a diesel should be doing 27-32mpg on a run depending how you drive.

Not sure on tank size, but 20 gallon on 30mpg+ is an easy 600 mile range.

Am I the only one to wonder what the point of running a diesel that does sub 30 mpg (on a run) is? confused

The V8 RR does 17mpg, which makes 30mpg look positively frugal.

It's a big heavy AWD car, that is really HEAVY wink

The petrol ones are more likely to be 14-18mpg, so the diesel is in percentage terms vastly more economical.

I'm going with either the 3.6 or 4.4 litre tdv8 engines, 6 speed for the first and a 8 speed for the latest engine.

For a 2.5ton 4x4 I would recon that 700miles to a tank that's 100 litres capacity is pretty good, I'm sure the 4.4tdv8 can crack 40mpg on a run.

Oh and the cost is roughly £130-140 a tank depending where and what fuel you use.
