Mini Cooper S and Run flats Question

I need to change the the front tyres on the Mini Cooper S and am thinking about ditching the run flats and getting some normal tyres. Is this straight forward or will the run flat warning light appear on the dash and require some reprogramming.
Oh and its a 2003 53 Mini Cooper S with 17" wheels

its fine and no the warning light will not come on, and you will be amazed how good the ride becomes once you ditch the stupid run flats.

remember to buy a can of tyre weld/foam.
