...... ive been lurking silently for a few years, mostly checking out your rather excellent classifieds section, where my son (who spends most of his time in dreamland) has the Cosworth listing as a link on his computer.

I myself am in the modified Old Ford scene and have a 1959 100e Pop in the making, its a little way off but fingers crossed, she'll get there.

Its a sad tale that brings me here and a BIG call out to the UK car community.

A very good friend of mine sadly had his Ford Popluar stolen over the weekend. A car that he has put his heart and soul in to over the last few years.
Its a Dark Ambassador Blue 100e Ford Pop Reg - YLA 152
Lowered, Wide/Lotus steels, running the original sidevalve engine.

Stolen from the Selsdon/Croydon area of South London.

I have put out the word over every major Classic & Modified site I can think of, this being one of them. All of whom have thankfully welcomed and agreed to assist in the search.

So thanks for allowing me to post and admin allowing me to display the message. Not sure if I can post pics at this early stage of signing up, but here the link.

I'll keep my eyes out for this as I drive daily around croydon/selsdon/addington and the backroads out into kent.
