What car is this?

Went to my parents for tea this evening and my nephew was playing with some of my old toy cars. One of which was this one, but between my Dad, Brother and me we could not decide what Group C car it is, and the underneath didn't give any indication either.
My initial thoughts was a Porsche 956, my Dad's was an Aston Martin AMR1 and my Brother's a Lola. I'm not convinced.
