Both the same mileage and colour. One's a CAT D and is £17.5k

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1999-T-REG-HONDA-NSX-3-2...

The other is not a Cat D (well the advert doesn't state it anyway), and it's £19.5k

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3211435.htm

I thought the NSX 3.2 manual went for more than these; although the odometer on the more expensive car doesn't look straight...

Interesting as they seem to be identical down to the none Honda floor mats . . . .

It's the same car, as if you look at the rear view mirror there's something dangling from it.

I think it's the same car, yes. Interesting that they are two completely different sets of pictures taken in difference places, though.

Yeah I don't know how the 'two threads' phenomenon happened.

eBay one is a classified ad, and could have been on there for a while. I expect someone bought the car but the ad hasn't been removed yet. Then the new owner puts an ad on PH to try and sell it on for a quick £2k+ profit. Bit naughty not mentioning the Cat D, but then I guess caveat emptor...

nope.

caveat emptor would not apply. it would be fraud

>>also it's a trader, so doesn't apply two fold

Its the same car, unless they both chose the exact same tyres front/rear.

Just ask both for the VIN info - legitimate request to check history with Honda UK.
Then you'll know if they're the same for sure.

probably worth spending the extra money on this one. I like the ad: only 4 NSXs in this colour, yeah and two are for sale..

Not quite, seems the PH one is displaying 48097, which isn't exactly 47000, is it?
Highline I've seen before on Gumtree and Auto Trader or here - it's listed on AT but just as trader.
Mobile number, if not owned by someone else, goes to timmy2take on Scoobynet.
He was a trader there, so looks like 1+1=2 on this one.
His profile states Kent as location.

Assuming same car, then eBay listing proves very handy - 9 previous owners!
In 12 years? Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.
CAT D knocks at least 35% off any value.
Steer well clear unless you can get it for £12K, and don't mind spending a couple of grand having the engine, etc well checked over
I'd want full details of where it was damaged, and to what extent that caused it to be written off by the insurers.
