I just spotted the Bentley Mulsanne which was refurbished on Wheeler Dealers a couple of seasons back (A783YGF) - in McLaren Vale, South Australia!

I only recognised it because it's still wearing its UK plates, as well as South Australian trade plates.

I always wondered what happened to the cars after their 'restorations' were complete.

Lot of stuff heading out there, especially 15 year and older luxury British Barges. Try finding a 1996 plate XK8 Convertible for sale that doesn't get an enquiry from down under at the moment.

Good spot though thumbup

The strength of the Australian dollar and the ridiculous price of locally sourced European cars are strong drivers at the moment.

£80k list for a new Boxster anyone?

good spot, and from what I remember they did a reasonable job on it, apart from the awful interior to exterior colour combo vomit

Yeah, blue and grey, not a popular combo!

There is a series of Wheel dealers re visited on at the moment. I watched the Porsche 911 episode which shows the car 2 or 3 years and 3 or 4 owners later and it now has a owner who is really putting some money into it getting the bodywork repainted and mechanical components upgraded for some track use.
