Someone I know is interested in quite an expensive car, it ticks all the boxes, but after the HPI it comes up as first registered in Northern Ireland.

Seeing that its 100k+, would a northern Ireland reg car cause concern for any future buyers?

Have checked the DVLA site and it says its fine, but just wondering what the trade really believe.

Many thanks
James

Why would it be an issue?

Makes no difference.

They're part of GB and use the same DVLA database.

Southern Ireland cars, different story.

thanks, the car just seems more keenly priced than others so the question was asked..

Company registered to Ireland so they don't get speeding tickets was a common ploy a few years ago

Quite a few buyers for the English car supermarkets come over here and clear out the auction houses. Charles Hurst group which does quite a few brands and has a prestige devision is owned by Lookers. No issue really.
