Hi all

We are selling our 2007 R56 MCS in the next month, likely in a p/x. The car is due a service (actually was due 2k miles ago). Its full main dealer at the mo, and they have quoted £200 for the service. The car also needs replacement front pads and disks, but I am wondering if this is something I should get done prior to p/x'ing the car? Done at main dealer, it will be £370. I would rather not shell out unless I have to. Would it be best to get this done prior, at say cheapest option, or just p/x and leave it with the dealer?

Thx in advance

I would just get the oil service done and a stamp in the book.

Have you already arranged a deal with the car?

If so, and you've agreed a price. Don't do it.

If not, its up to you. It may help you get a stronger PX price, but it may not be as much difference as you have spent.

Thx chaps. I will defo pay the £200 and get the stamp. Will mull over the disks/pads then but atm they are safe, so might just leave it. Sure whichever dealer gets the car, it wont cost them £370 smile
