Interested to know how widely you gather and share your motoring knowledge and experiences.

So, please only count membership of motoring-based forums and you have to have a login, so don't count any forums you just browse from time to time.

On a Jag forum, and used to be a member of FFOC (focus) but they've restricted it so much these days that unless you pay membership you can't see anything useful.

Does the other place count as a motoring forum, it does have a car section?.
If no then I'm just on PH.

If you're a member of lots of forums, do you find it difficult to keep up with what's going on with them all?

Or do they tend to evolve a lot more slowly than PH?

I find most forums are slow compared to PH. I think that's down to their 'speciality' whereas PH is no longer just motoring, it is everything, (even X-factor <shudder>).

I'm on PH, and 2 4x4 sites.

I used to frequent SafeSpeed but it is crap. It was always on the verge of crap, but after the chief tinfoil hatter died it became like a bunch of old whingers having the same conversation every day. Apart from "Squirrel" who made up new idiotic lies every day about his Audi A4, before being busted by the police for some VERY bad behaviour.

When I joined here Wild(insert faux made up Germanic words and lots of smileys)Cat from Safespeed was a member here as well, but he/she/it stopped posting here son afterwards, which was nice.

Project Puma
PumaPeople
Racing Puma Owners Club
Surrey New Mini
Mini Club UK
PH

I'm only a regular on Project though these days, as Pumapeople has fell off a cliff in terms of members.

I used HondaRevolutions a lot when I had my Hondas, but I've no need for it anymore.

I find that PH generally covers all my motoring needs, and where I need more specific advice, I'll do a search on a specialist forum.

I've joined pretty much every forum after buying that specific marque - best way of learning things and diagnosing car issues. PH is probably the only forum I don't use for my own problems (other than mental) and pretty much use PH for dog issues, looking at watches, meets on the Yorkshire forum and looking at people's car.

I put 2, PH and MX5nutz. I'm not counting the "other" place.

Vehicle specific fora tend to move a lot more slowly due to having a lot less members. I've joined in a few in the past when looking at a particular bike or car as they can have a lot of usefull info for the potential purchaser. I only regularly visit PH and one of the bike forums though.
