........thankyou for your excellent value and service. I was struggling to find the exact spec I wanted for a winter tyre and you came up trumps. Your delivery guys were also very friendly and helpful.

I'm by no means affiliated to LT.com but just felt compelled to post up this thankyou and recommendation as I'm sure there will be plenty of people on here starting to look at their options for the coming months.

Bring on the snow.

I'm sure they're sitting in their office just waiting for you to post this on PH.

I somehow doubt it. But i believe in passing on experiences of good service and products to other like minded souls particulary given the number of threads relating to the subject.

Prior to reading another recommendation for the same aforementioned company I was struggling to find want I wanted with all local suppliers and most other more obvious national companies telling me they were out of stock.

If it helps someone else like it did for me then great. I thought that was part of the general idea of forums like this?

Any astute company will regularly Google themselves these days. It's exactly on places like Pistonheads where they get a true impression of what their customers think of them.

Got my winters from LT too. Really quick, and a little bit of flirting with one of the ladies on the phone got me free delivery.

Yep, really good bunch. Sadly these days so many companies have lost sight of what customer service is all about.

PS. Flashman, I see we are neighbours up in Gods County, nice Zonda BTW.

Are they not more likely to get a negative view, given that plenty of people are happy to complain/moan, but far fewer (like the OP) will speak up when praise is due? How many people star threads along the lines of 'My car has been running superb with no faults at all'?

Exactly - then they can work on putting the wrongs right.
