I'm after some advice, but hopefully not the worst "I'm getting a new car" thread ever!!

I'm just about to place an order for a new car through my company lease scheme, so very soon I will have 2 cars, one of which I don't need anymore. I've never sold a car - always p/x when I have replaced, so I don't really know what to do with it. It isn't the selling that I'm unsure of, it's the insurance. I'm currently fully comp with 6 years no claims which I'd rather put on the new car. So what do I do with car #1. If I try and sell it, I'd need to insure two cars, and have a pain in the arse time with the NCD. What do you guys tend to do with your original car when you get a new one? Is it worth just offloading it on we buy any car or somewhere similar. Car's worth about £1800 on autotrader, WBAC offered £1500.

Also, if I try to sell it privately, what's the deal with insurance for someone turning up to test drive?

Cheers.
