Best insurance comparison site?

Hi guys,

I know this probably comes up quite alot, but has anyone got any comparison site recommendations apart from the obvious ones (confused, meerkat etc.)? I'm sure someone on here mentioned that one they used recently was a good chunk cheaper than the major ones - I've done a search but to no avail!

I drive a Z4 if that makes any difference.

Seriously. Go to a broker, a specialist, or go direct.

Comparison sites are for people who know nothing about cars or insurance and want the path of least resistance.

none. I use them as a general guide. some quotes don't even make sense. I go on 2 different comparison sites, and with get two quotes from the same insurance company, and there's a £200-500 difference between each one.
I find that if i do see a good quote on a comparison site, I check out the insurers individual site and do a seperate quote there, works out even cheaper.
Failing that, there are always insurers that are not on comparison sites. after that, there are brokers & specialist insurers to consider.
