2005 Micra - coolant level check

Right, so I'm borrowing a relative 2005 Nissan Micra. I thought I'd do the usual checks before using it. On most cars it's quite easy to check the coolant level visually by looking at the resevoir. But on the Micra there just seems be what looks like plastic can that doesnt seem to hold any fluid. The lid says liquid coolant so I'm guessing that's where you pour it in. But how do I check the level. Can't find any pics via google.

Feel like a real numpty! Can anyone help?
