Supra Drifts 'The Lillehammer Hillclimb'

Kenneth Moen becomes a legend in his own YouTube vid

Traditionally there's not been a lot to do in Norway, apart from lumber-jacking and chewing reindeer leather to make shoes. So in recent years folks have turned to playing with cars.

Kenneth Moen is a case in point. Foresaking the ancient crafts of his forebears, he's maxxed out the boost on his Toyota Supra and given it a huge sideways spanking on the roads near the Lysgårdsbakkene Ski Jumping Arena in Lillehammer, Norway.

YouTube footage ensued, which we can only hope wasn't taken by a Norwegian Police helicopter.

I hope the PH anti-drift militia don't treat this as a call to arms..

That chap can really, really pedal. Great video.

I'm not usually a fan of drifting, but that is absolutely incredible.

I wonder how long it will be till they put this guy and Ken Block in a duo video.

Impressive stuff!

I do like some driftage.

I know some folk on here dont, but regardless to your views that was simply fantastic driving.

Possible. They're both sponsored by Monster. Ken's videos must be losing impact by now, so perhaps this guy is going to be the new Ken on the block. getmecoat

what's so impressive is that he is literally drifting the car ALL the time! There's not one moment of footage when the tyres aren't smoking - seriously impressive car control

Yes i was thinking the same thing. When you look at the road in alot of the low down shots there are no tyre marks from previous attempts. Skills!

Not a partisan of this type of driving but all that can be said is "respect". I wonder if he finishes the run on the rims, or the minimum on the canvas

What sort of sh!te tyres are on the back of that Supra???

I appreciate a drifting video would not be possible with sticky tyres, but these ones offer sweet FA traction. There is not a single point in the entire run where they are "hooked in" to the road / track surface.

This is like the World Wide Wrestling of motorsport, impressive showmanship and entertaining but more show than go.
