Guys

I removed the Ai606 out of my 4G civic, and need to get it installed in my mk2 CRX.

There are 8 black wires on the loom, 4 of which are the immobiliser so out of the other 4, I need to know which pins are the 2 x earth, 1 x switched live, 1 x perm live.

Or if anyone can point me in the direction of another forum where I can get help with this I would be very grateful.

Any help would be best sent via Email for obvious reasons!

Cheers,

Conrad

As per the topic title, if anyone is a toad installer they will very likely just know.

OR if someone has an unused unit ready to fit, the wires have labels on them that you remove once it's all soldered in.

Think about this...

On mine they are labelled.

So how can I tell you which is which ?

The black one is positive, the black one is negative and the black one is switched.

They go into a connector block, if you trace the wires to where they go into the connector block I need to know which pin is which wire on which connector block.

I can then label my wires up again.

Let me know if this makes sense?

There should be 2 earths by the way.

Cheers again

If this is OK please email me the answer as we don't want car thieves knowing which pin is which!!!

No the manual doesn't detail the pin outs for obvious reasons!

Don't know why I bother....

Why not put it back in situ in your old car and see where the wires go?

Am I missing something? You seem to be getting pissy over my response? The manual doesn't detail which pin on the ECU is which wire, that is what I crucially need to know so I don't blow the ECU up.

Putting it back in the other car would be a reasonable thing to do, however the car has been crushed so not an option!

Hopefully the other chap in this thread who has an unfitted labelled ECU harness will come back with which pin the wires go to.

Cheers,

Con
