Can any one put me on to a good insurance lead..... Currently have an 06 Skoda Superb Elegance 2.0 TDI. Last year I paid just under £500 inclusive of full breakdown recovery with the NFU Mutual car insurance. This year the total has gone up by more than £100 to over £600. I have had no accidents or claimed in the year. I know insurance has gone up generally but paying £600 seems pretty steep for some one aged 49 living in a low risk area. Ironic my 5 litre TVR Griff on less than 5,000 miles a year and I'm paying just over £200! Any body got any good leads?

Tried that last year - no good. However, I will be giving them a call again this time but not hopeful.

Thanks for your quick input

Do the usual i'd say, price comparison sites, try the likes of Direct Line. Look for bare bones policies, alot of the premium rises to include breakdown cover can cost more than purchasing it seperately.

Have you looked at a multicar policy for both of them?

Try call them and get them to knock it down, worked for my old man when they put his premium up!
