This may be a really silly idea, or it could be a very valid one... normally I keep my car in the garage attached to the house, so heat from the house does radiate into the garage and keep things from been damp, the garage is often used with doors open so it has air through it at times too.

Now this winter I'm thinking of storing the TVR in a single garage not attached to the house, is there anything I should do to keep moisture out? It is a single pre-fab garage, doesn't appear to leak but i'll be sealing all the cracks and walls anyway to be sure.

It' cold in there, thinking it maybe wise to run some form of heater on a timer to keep some warmth in there? Any ideas on this or am I worrying too much about moisture / damp aiding corrosion and leather damp.

Buy a big bag of cat litter, it takes the moisture out the air around the car. If you use a heater, you'll get lots of moisture IME.

Will it be left or do you take it down the road once in a while?

get a decent dehumidifier, it should do the job.

It can be difficult to keep the cars dry in those conditions, I'd suggest putting a radiator into the garage attached to the house and storing the cars there - much better. If you can't do this try to insulate the garage as much as possible, then plug any gaps and run a dehumidifier and a few greenhouse heaters - you need to keep the temperature inside the garage above something like 4C for the dehumidifier to work.

If funds will allow I'd go for the carcoon, or one of these which may be more user friendly:
