the most hideous looking car on the road today.

The first time I saw one I just stood and pointed.

we looked at buying one but there is no room at all in the back for the pooch and the kids and the boot is tiny and you dont get a spare wheel
opted for the 1.5dci qashqui n tec model , bit dearer but much more suitable for the kids and wife
Fuel economy is no where near what they say for that engine though , wife everyday hack 2011 model 40mpg average no more

Just took a friend to collect his from the port of Tyne on the Nissan employee scheme, had a quick look around it, I am 6'3" and fit comfortably in the front with head and legroom, legroom was fine in the back but headroom was severely reduced to the point where I would say I didn't fit unless I was in need of a lift and 'shot gun' had been 'baggsied'! if its adults in the front and kids in the back, providing you haven't grown ginormous children it would cope fine, what strikes me is sitting in it looking out the car feels huge as the headlights pop up over your bonnet line, the bonnet is high and bodywork is visible from almost all windows, but when you move around there isn't as much space as what you are originally lead to believe, this may be one of those tricks of the eye scenarios with the chunky body work though! the toys were impressive too, touch screen centre display that controls radio volume and different display modes, quite similar to modern phones or pads in the way it was operated! in the monthly briefing at the factory world wide sales had exceeded expectations by 400% and the production line running the Juke looks like its getting an extra shift to keep up with demand, don't know what this will mean price wise at dealers. On the employee lease scheme, NEVOS, it's £165 a month for a year and all you need to do is put petrol in, that may be of no use to you what so ever or may help you with a deal, no idea! decent car if you can put up with its looks and cross gender identity ..... that was long winded

mrs has a 1.6 petrol tekna, bought on the nissan friends/family scheme. A whole lot of car for 14k with leather, nav. reversing camera, bluetooth, cruise etc etc etc

Bad points with petrol are that it could do with a 6th gear, its a bit buzzy at high speed (still manages 40mpg in mixed use though)

General bad points - interior plastics could be nicer, boot is a bit on the small side.

At one point there were also loads of people moaning on the juke forums about poor mpg from the diesel.

They look absolutely brilliant! (I found the post above referring to them selling 400% of expectation interesting - there must be something that appeals about them!)

In any case - most hideous looking car on the road today - BMW 5 series GT or Ssany Yong Rodius have that angle covered - no contest!
