Europe trip for next year. Ideas and advice.

Ive not really posted in the ph forums before so bear with me.

A couple of friends and myself are looking at doing a europe road trip next may (may 2012), there are a few of us with cars ranging from Toyota Supra, Subaru P1, to a Nissan Navara.

This is what we are planning to do; (im going to explain in steps if that makes sense)

Step one - Oxford - from UK to Nurburgring, camp/stay a night or two to explore
Step two - Alps and switzerland, camp/stay again
Step Three - Go through a little bit of italy to Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer, France. stay a couple of nights, chill out etc, then make our way home.

Obviously we need to allow for exploration etc.

We want to do the Stelvio, any tips on that, also the san bernardino tunnel or san bernardino pass.

What is the best way to do it? Best time? What are the Tolls like as i hear they can be pricey going long distance.

Anything we need specifically?

Ive done some research...but trust me...type road trip checklist into google and i was amazed and how much stuff some people needed!

Any information will be highly appreciated.
